Getting started with Zapptax is simple.
Just follow these three steps:
1. Confirm that my customer is eligible.
I make sure the customer meets the tax-free shopping conditions: they must live outside the European Union and leave the EU no later than the end of the third month following their purchase, taking the goods in their personal luggage.
2. Provide the brochure.
I give my customer an explanatory brochure in French or English, and invite them to download the Zapptax app using the QR code printed on it. I can order free marketing materials at any time to help with this step.
Zapptax provides QR code stickers that I can display on my counter, payment terminal or shop window to guide customers easily.
🔎 My customer can also download the app simply by searching “Zapptax” in their browser or app store.
3. Issue an invoice made out to Zapptax.
I create a Zapptax invoice for the purchase. It must include:
The name and address of Zapptax.
A clear description of the goods.
The price excluding VAT (excl. VAT).
The total amount incl. VAT.
The VAT rate and VAT amount.
And that’s it!
